GritivaCore is source-available under a non-compete license. The agent and the docs system you can read, fork, and run on your own hardware. Hosted services and commercial deployment require a paid plan.
Plans#
Free — $0#
For individuals, hobbyists, and evaluation.
- Up to 3 VMs managed by the hosted control plane
- Unlimited scopes, services, and gmesh peers within those VMs
- Public docs at docs.gritiva.com

- No SLA
Pro — $49 / VM / month#
For small teams running production workloads.
- Unlimited VMs
- Email support, first response within 1 business day
- 99.9% panel uptime SLA (see SLA addendum)
- Audit logs retained 90 days
- Programmatic API access (rate-limited to 10 req/sec)
Enterprise — Custom#
For organizations with regulatory or scale needs.
- Everything in Pro, plus:
- SAML / OIDC SSO, SCIM provisioning
- Dedicated support engineer
- Custom SLA up to 99.99%
- On-prem control plane (we'll quote separately)
- Vendor questionnaires, security review, MSAs
What counts as a "VM"#
A VM is anything where you run the gritiva-agent binary and the agent successfully registers a heartbeat with the hosted control plane. Bare-metal hosts, cloud VMs, Proxmox guests, and ARM SBCs all count equally. We do not charge per scope, per mesh peer, or per domain.
What's free forever#
The self-hosted parts — the agent, the gmesh data plane, the docs system source — are all source-available and free for non-commercial use. You can run as many copies as you like. The Pro and Enterprise plans only buy you the hosted control plane, support, and SLAs.
FAQ#
Do I need a Pro plan if I self-host the control plane too? No — if you host everything yourself, you owe us nothing. We'd love to know you're using it; we don't gate it.
Can I downgrade? Yes, anytime, from billing settings. Excess VMs above the new tier limit get marked as "unbilled" but keep working — they just don't count for SLA.
Do you offer a startup discount? Yes, 50% off Pro for the first 12 months for companies <2y old and <$1M ARR. Email [email protected] with proof.
Education / nonprofit? Free Pro for verified .edu and 501(c)(3) accounts. Same email.
